At Paul Penders our priority is quality. To support our customer expectations for high quality products, Paul Penders continues to expand its quality control laboratory and processes well into the year 2012. With our own laboratory equipment and experienced people, Paul Penders makes a commitment to continued excellence in product quality. We believe that quality begins with the knowledge and experience of our suppliers and raw materials and continues though the production process for shipment of finished goods to some 15 countries in the world.

In-house Quality Control Laboratory

Despite Paul Penders is a rather small company compared to the giant cosmetic corporations, we maintain a modern laboratory staffed by experienced professionals. We create our own formulations! Our formulations are no "me-too" formulations that come from OEM (private label manufacturers) where 95% of cosmetics products on the market are being made according to same "OEM formulations". Not at Paul Penders. We create and develop and test everything by our own R&D department, as well as an outside lab. We do product analyses, test our products on a panel of volunteers before formulations are sent for health approvals in EU, Japan, Australia, Korea, Saudi Arabia, and more.

Of course, Paul Penders is cGMP compliant

We comply with "Current Good Manufacturing Practices" with protocols firmly in place for the documentation and validation of our quality control system to ensure compliance with all relevant safety and health regulation in all countries. We thoroughly document every aspect of our operations, including receiving, processing, packaging and shipping. Our quality assurance includes individuals dedicated to process document control, training, and product testing. We insure that FDA-compliant manufacturing protocols are followed in a government licensed cGMP facility, and that our products meet the requirements for identity, strength, quality and purity.

Our Quality Assurance Testing includes:

• Organoleptic testing to ensure proper appearance of color, consistency, feel on skin and smell. Although some variation always can be possible depending on raw materials received. Think about quality wine, honey, etc. which appearance can vary from year to year depending on factors including weather conditions. It is the same with many ingredients we receive and that may end up in a slightly different color or consistency from batch to batch, yet the product is quality assured.
• Microscopic inspection of the herbs and other ingredients
• HPTLC for identification to verify purity and authenticity (ready in 2012)
• ICP-MS heavy metal analysis (ready in 2012)
• Various chemical analyses

In addition, after a production batch is being made, before filling the product into containers, each production batch is being sent to a global pharmaceutical testing facility who will officially certify each production batch. Thus from all production batches we exercise internal and external quality assurance control to guarantee our consumer the best possible, most potent and most safe product.

We also like to mention that each Paul Penders product is certified by the government as strictly halal, which guarantees extra care in using 100% vegetarian ingredients and Paul Penders products are safe to be used for vegans, as well as people from almost any religion.
