I CAUTION CHINESE CONSUMERS OF FAKE PAUL PENDERS PRODUCTS

A company in Hangzhou, China, calls itself "Paul Penders China" and produces illegally cosmetic products using my name. That company has no right to use my trademark as all rights are fully owned only by myself. I am not involved with that company in China. My lawyers have officially written to the Hangzhou Company to immediately terminate the use of my name and intellectual properties, and, to stop manufacturing products under my name. It is illegal for the company to use my name. The website www.paulpenders.cn is illegal as well.

I urge Chinese authorities to clamp down on the Hangzhou Company in order to protect the image of the country and the consumers who may be duped into buying fake "Paul Penders" products in the China. While litigation is being pursued I am taking every effort to protect my brand and cautioning Chinese clients of potential damage when using fake products. They do not use the same ingredients. The quality of the fake products is not guaranteed by me. Moreover, these products do not contain certified organic ingredients.

Chinese consumers will stand to lose if damage is done to their complexion. I cannot be held liable. Distributors of products manufactured by the Hangzhou Company are to immediately stop distributing these products. Chinese consumers can demand for these products to be returned to the manufacturer. Companies which continue to engage in distributing these products after our public announcement in the China newspapers shall be liable in accordance with the laws in China.

My lawyers placed an advertisement in Qian Jiang Evening Post on May 24, 2011 to warn against fake Paul Penders products made in China. To view the advertisement click http://zjdaily.zjol.com.cn/qjwb/html/2011-05/24/node_107.htm
